How do Opportunities link to Product Targets?

Opportunity Products automatically link to Product Targets when:

1. The Opportunity Owner matches the target owner.
2. The Opportunity Close Date falls within the target period.
3. The Opportunity Product Product Category matches the target Product Category.

Unlike Sales Targets, Product Targets do not support “Target Type”.
